@jmitterii2 I had about $6500 invested in this gyro. I sold it to upgrade to a newer one. This one was an older design. I started getting into ultralights but then went for a ride in a gyro at Sun-n-Fun and was hooked. Gyros don't get blown around by the wind as much as fixed wing ultralights do. Gyros can more comfortably fly in more wind. They suck more fuel than a fixed wing ultralight because they have more drag so it reduces the range.
Another fine video on gyros. What kind of instruments do you have on your panel and are you equipped with a radio or nav-com unit for communications? Do you use GPS?
The instruments in the instrument pod are Altimeter, Air Speed Indicator, Vertical Speed Indicator, Engine CHT & EGT, Engine Tach and Rotor Tach. I use a handheld radio strapped to my leg (connected to my flight helmet, and sometimes I wear a GPS also on my leg.
So do you still have the plans for it?

@Cj816 Sorry. I do not still have any plans. I sold this gyro and I'm currently building a Sport Copter Vortex.

Looks pretty nice! How much did it cost to put together?
Just asking, are there advantages in Gyros over ultralites? or Why did you go for the gyro over an ultralite? Looks like fun!
