man i had to get this so i downloaded the whole 15 volumes . normally this is the kinda of music im willing to pay money for but i could not wait and was broke . i recommened this highly and will pay back my free ride .oh music music sweet music!
That's what I'm confused about. Would you be able to help me out?
So, apart from this being a most rare of albums, I'm actually clueless as to whether it's free or not. There are no official purchasable or informative websites, all the side-sites are out of stock, everybody's uploading them to RapidShare, I only want just one track from Volume 10, which would be digitally downloaded and not from CD, and I'm wondering if this is even legally possible to obtain, without paying $48 dollars.
@DerEinzige21 "If we didn't revive and bring back alive old beats that we appreciated, you wouldn't survive" --Big Daddy Kane- Young Gifted & Black.... At the time James Brown among many artist who had their work sampled by rappers were suing rappers.. Sampling is an art unto itself...Puffy abuses this artform..Sampling is really about taking stuff to make something completely new..It was a point a pride when people didn't know where you sampled from..
Latifah's horns came from The Crusaders Message From The Inner City. They do sound somewhat similar though. It's on The Crusaders 2 album. Worth copping if you see it
These are not the only artists that used these samples but here are the ones I remember (in order of the tracks from this collection):
Busta Rhymes - New York
O.C. - Time's Up
Wrecks N Effect - Rump Shaker
Guru f/ Dr. Donald Byrd - Loungin'
Prodigy - Keep It Thoro
