Adding the word, "Theory" to the idea of evolution is then nothing more than propaganda. When one shifts the focus of the mind from the evidence, meaning that which is evident, by using terminology beneficial to the supplier of a new set of notions, is misleading, dishonest, and seeing the real evidence of the idea of evolution which are it's end results of slackness in morality, we have propaganda which is aimed with then end result in mind of every man doing as he pleases...no God to watch.
Horn please explain the Cambrian explosion. The rapid appearance of most major groups of complex animals. It doesn't fit the evolutionary model very well.
That is a fine example of an unknown in the theory of evolution. Answers are being searched for; when and if they are found, the evolutionary model could be adjusted. But it's pure lunacy to want to disregard the entire theory based on what you said.

2) the Cambrian explosion took place over ~50 MILLION years
2) All of the creatures that appeared were in the WATER. NO land creatures AT ALL.
That pretty well destroys the idea that all creatures appeared at the same time.
Find a Cambrian rabbit, and you'd have half a chance of disproving evolution.
The most likely REASON for the Cambrian explosion was the "sudden" (10-20 million years) increase in free oxygen in the water (and the atmosphere), and a drop in iron content.
they keep saying evolution is just a theory and should be discredited for being so, but what is intelligent design? its just an idea, its ot even really saying much just that something is behind "this". its barely an idea should just be treated as such and not forced into schools as fact.
evolutionary theory merely explains the documented phenomenon of evolution.
any currently standing theory can safely be considered true, unless/until significant new evidence arises.
thus, evolutionary theory may need revision in the future, as it has in the past, but there's no rational doubt that the evolutionary process does indeed occur, as it is documented as an ongoing process today, and has left much evidence in the fossil record.
The fact that these muffins were actually members of a school board makes me want to puke.
