And the writer's for this show are just as damn good. We can't forget them! Damn, I find myself counting the days until Boyd's face is on my tv screen. Best actor on tv today. Possibly in my 46 year old lifetime. Unbelievable he is! Bravo!

Walton is such an intelligent actor and he does Boyd justice. Kudos Walton!

Justified is one of the best drama's on TV today. It's like a modern western and the writing is so amazing. Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) are just the greatest characters. Good or bad, dumb or genius, they seem like real people. They're not perfect, and they're not idiots. They struggle, they learn, they bleed, and they kick ass. It's a sheer joy to just watch them work!

Also Walton if you read these comments we love your "Quotes" of resounding "Southern" wisdom that you preach on the show. Sometimes outsiders or so wrapped up in thinking they know things they cant see the simple truth right in front of their faces like the simple man. I give you major respect for portraying the southerner as who he really is. So many do not know history of the educated southerner and you are bringing it to light. Keep it up my man. P.S. Man Boyd Seriously steels the show every episode. I like Raylon but man Boyd just twist you head every time and makes you wonder every time. 2nd season is knockin my boots off and Dicky and Mama sure make the show just pure evil at times. Only thing I got to say is man I can not stand Raylon's ex wife.. What the hell is Raylon thinking switching from Ava to his ex wife. Man someone knock some sense into that boy.

Justified is taking us in a new direction of good quality TV drama! In my opinion the writing is a "10" this season. My favourite series is a long long time. Walton and Tim are superb!

@tarnsand Right on! I really love the way the depth of the characters is unfolding slowly. Boyd is more complex than I originally thought, Goggins portrayal is superb! And Raylan is really shedding some layers and giving us a peek inside what makes him tick. Excellent writing indeed! Although a show needs great actors to bring the words to life, w/o great writing, there is no show.
