nah. Those lyrics refer to the fact that carbon is recycled through generations. Carbon is taken in and used to create new life. When life dies, it's "carbon is stolen" by the life that uses it's biological material to reproduce.

Okay, this song has a very deep and depressing meaning. First of parting of the sensory is referring to our senses being taken from us when we die. When he says "Who the hell made you the boss? We placed our chips in all the right spots but still we lost..." That is most likely referring to God in anger. Isaac is probably upset that God made us all and we are only all destined to doom. The ship refers to life and when you die the minerals will become part of other organisms. Very depressing song
