I played this on PC as well. It was included with some kind of Sonic Mega Pack or something. It also came with Sonic 3+K, Sonic CD, and a screensaver program.

sonic r is a fun game i like this game at first i didn,t know were the 7 chaoes emmeralds were knuckles is the best with the controls thats how i got all the emmralds in 1st place epic playthrogh super sonic is now avilble thanks to this player of sonic r

Okay, I really need to get something straight. Tails doll is a mere game character, how the fuck is a virtual object going to pop out of the TV screen and kill you? I notice when you play as Sonic, you don't use your drift ability. You can use the triggers to turn sharper, and it makes Sonic much more managable. I'm glad you posted this though.  (once you get used to controlling Sonic with the triggers, you can EASILY get all 5 coins AND the Chaos Emeralds doing one race (get the emerald racing the secret characters)
