they were probably abandoned coz they were girls? girls are a shame to chinese families, there so obsessed with only having boys... however these girls are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! so happy they got a good home
That was such a gorgeous video... thought I have been home about 1 yr now with our daughter... I never tire of watching children meeting their Forever Families...
I accidently disliked the video :(! I actually gasped and felt horrible. I thought you should know that one of the dislikes were unintentional. Your story truly touched me and you two have a beautiful family <3
This is one of the sweetest receiving scenes ever... Mia's heart literally lept out of her chest and rushed to her babies coming down the hall... Beautiful children, beautiful parents, beautiful family. It seems that the orphanage handled the joining together of children and family with great sensitivity. This is usually a loud, chaotic scene, so traumatic for the babies. Lovely. Thanks for sharing.
喜喜 Double Happiness!!! it is story's as great as yours that helps families waiting stick it out...you have such a beautiful family. 很可爱的小朋友 (very cute children)!!!
aww! How wonderful! I am so happy for your family! I am thinking about adopting a child/ren from China someday but heard the paperwork/process is intense, hopefully things will get easier before I get started, lol. ;D
I agree it really was wonderful! And I think you should adopt from China. Actually, I was adopted from China and it took my mom atleast two years to get her paperwork and everything cleared to get me.
Aww, congrats, I'm so happy for you. I understand the whole process of whay/why they go through everything. They don't want children just going to any family. But I still wish the process didn't take so long. I also wish it wasn't so expensive. Ih eard it is costly too. Why put a price on adoption? Even though the process will prob be tough, I'm still going to think of how hard it must be for the little ones out there with their folks that just want a loving family. That will keep me going. ;D
I watched a documentary about twin girls adopted by different families, one in the US and the other in Norway. The adoptive parents were the ones who saw the likeness when they were in the Civic Centre in China together and decided to do DNA tests.
You have the most beautiful family. Mom Mia is a beauty herself, LOL!! Kaili and Kimberly showed promise from the word go, with those huge eyes and cheerful faces.
You gave birth on Dec 12, 2007 to a baby sister to them? Wow!!! God Bless you!!
I cried too! Beautiful story! I just saw the worst documentary on HBO about China's one child law, how baby girls are killed and aborted and how young boys go missing to be sold to other families. They have such a better life here in the US. God Bless both of you.....All 3 of your girls are Beautiful! I hope to be able to adopt one day too.
Another three months gone by and my wife and I have been approved by the USA via the I800a for twins so very glad to have had the chance to watch your story. We are hoping to be DTC within two weeks. :-) :-) We are so happy to be at this point in the process. Though the wait is expected to be long this gives us the chance to learn Mandarin and so much about the Chinese culture.
You have a beautiful family. I am so happy to see that the orphanage did not split up the twins to two different families. One of my Chinese language students was adopted and 3 years later, they accidentally discovered that she had a twin and was adopted to another family in another state. They did DNA testing and found out they were 99.99% identical. They now make frequent trips to visit each other.
My wife and I were just got through the homestudy and were just ask would you consider twins, not sure how you can say no after watching that video. I am extremely happy for your family, you are blessed. Thank you for sharing your story. You have a beautiful family.
What a wonderful video. We've adopted three times from China, watched hundreds of videos and STILL I cry everytime I see a new one!
