@Marinaely1 Do you know that Christianity is correct? The world around us reveals that G-d DOES exist, and the historical evidence reveals that Jesus Christ really did come to this earth and there is overwhelming evidence that Jesus Christ really did physically rise from the dead. Jesus is coming again and the signs of the end times that were foretold in the Bible are coming to pass.
The guy is a genius.-pure@simple!!He lights up best when surrounded by other equally good musicians.Watch his face whilst he.s playing....says it all.dunnit?
Rick Wakeman, Alan Parsons and Pink Floyd of course would have to be some of the most inspired muso's ever .When they finally push off this mortal coil there is absolutely no one out there who could come to stepping into their collective shoes.
@SupperOfTheMightyOne Let's not get carried away, whom' remembers King Arthur? Or that silly thing he did for some Winter olympics? He was good when he was in Yes but I don't think history has been kind to Journey. It sounds very much like it is stuck in a time warp. Bits of it are good no doubt but bits of it are plain terrible.
And I've sort of lost my taste for Wakeman, to be honest. Journey was a very adventurous album, maybe too adventurous for Wakeman to successfully apply himself to. It's a shame, though...maybe in a different context he could've been better. Him with an orchestra accompaniment, or something. He should've stuck his toe in classical music, more-so, maybe. Then his talents could've really shown. Perhaps. Potentially.
what a artist isn,t he? in every combination in every composition it is an adventure on which he takes us and the only thing you have to do is sit and listen.
@InsanityFX2 Anybody who truly appreciates music will recognize that no music is superior to another. Music is a personal thing. If you get the same emotional high out of this as others do out of Justin Bieber or Metallica or Queen or ACDC or Chopin who the hell are you to tell them that they are wrong? Good music can only be discussed relative to the person listening to it.

Wow! The best keyboardist in rock. And that says a lot when you have folks like Patrick Moraz, Mike Pinder and Keith Emerson thrown in there.

Al lado de los más grandes como Bach y Haendel estará por siempre el gran compositor Rick Wakeman.

This is "Recollection" from Journey and "Dance of a Thousand Lights" from Return. A nice segue from one to another.

People criticize Wakeman because he was in a few prog rock bands (amazing ones, if I may add), but they completely disregard his solo career.
He's a brilliant composer.

This is what i call music. Any idiot preferring pop music to this piece of art should be shot to death.

@InsanityFX2 Death penalty is a bit extreme and then some, but otherwise I agree. This has nothing on the pop trash of today.

@InsanityFX2 I did mean the other way round, honest! This is way better than pop music as it is now.
