  • Light me a joint man....

  • Blah blah blah.....

  • ¡¡¡¡Me encanta, me gusta muchísimo esta pieza musical!!! Es realmente extraordinaria,

    saludos desde Santiago de Chile.

  • wow

  • Long carreer... complete work... a life for music.

  • The guy is a genius.-pure@simple!!He lights up best when surrounded by other equally good musicians.Watch his face whilst he.s playing....says it all.dunnit?

  • Wow! The best keyboardist in rock. And that says a lot when you have folks like Patrick Moraz, Mike Pinder and Keith Emerson thrown in there.

  • Al lado de los más grandes como Bach y Haendel estará por siempre el gran compositor Rick Wakeman.

  • I saw him do this in Madison square garden when I was 16. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. amazing.....what a time.

  • Man, this is good stuff

  • I love this song

  • Keith!

  • Wakeman & Kieth Emmerson are the Kings of the keyboard. Enough said.

  • prog rock always be in the top of pop, whatever you say; like it or not

  • @veryfriendlyok Really? Well I would put the Buggles up against this any day of the week.

  • @zapkvr The Buggles rule! But they are also sometimes prog; just listen to We Can Fly From Here.

  • rick wakeman and pink floyd need I say more

  • @allendriggers55 say no more you sound boring

  • @allendriggers55 Which Pink Floyd? Syd Barrett? Roger Waters? Dave Gilmour?

  • pure genius

  • This is "Recollection" from Journey and "Dance of a Thousand Lights" from Return. A nice segue from one to another.

  • I still have the original album. Killer,,,

  • Rick Wakeman, Alan Parsons and Pink Floyd of course would have to be some of the most inspired muso's ever .When they finally push off this mortal coil there is absolutely no one out there who could come to stepping into their collective shoes.

  • @theoldgalah also King Crimson ;)

  • @priMMoz yes indeed King crimson.I still have their albums on vinyl no less with nary a click or a pop when played

  • People criticize Wakeman because he was in a few prog rock bands (amazing ones, if I may add), but they completely disregard his solo career.

    He's a brilliant composer.

  • @SupperOfTheMightyOne Let's not get carried away, whom' remembers King Arthur? Or that silly thing he did for some Winter olympics? He was good when he was in Yes but I don't think history has been kind to Journey. It sounds very much like it is stuck in a time warp. Bits of it are good no doubt but bits of it are plain terrible.

  • @zapkvr

    Hm, all good points.

And I've sort of lost my taste for Wakeman, to be honest. Journey was a very adventurous album, maybe too adventurous for Wakeman to successfully apply himself to. It's a shame, though...maybe in a different context he could've been better. Him with an orchestra accompaniment, or something. He should've stuck his toe in classical music, more-so, maybe. Then his talents could've really shown. Perhaps. Potentially.

  • Rick Wakeman is a genious. I have been a fan of this since it was released.

  • genuis no more to be said

  • what a artist isn,t he? in every combination in every composition it is an adventure on which he takes us and the only thing you have to do is sit and listen.

  • Rick Wakeman...So fine!Thanks for Sharing.

    Have a good day.

  • This is what i call music. Any idiot preferring pop music to this piece of art should be shot to death.

  • @InsanityFX2 Death penalty is a bit extreme and then some, but otherwise I agree. This has nothing on the pop trash of today.

  • @InsanityFX2 I did mean the other way round, honest! This is way better than pop music as it is now.

  • @thelyniezian I was only kidding about about the death penalty ;)

  • @InsanityFX2 Anybody who truly appreciates music will recognize that no music is superior to another. Music is a personal thing. If you get the same emotional high out of this as others do out of Justin Bieber or Metallica or Queen or ACDC or Chopin who the hell are you to tell them that they are wrong? Good music can only be discussed relative to the person listening to it.

  • @nano4288 except when it stops being music and starts being a corporate faggot singing about how much sex he has with hoe's

  • @aang861 A hoe is a garden implement. You mean hos (no apostrophe).

  • @InsanityFX2 dont be so rude about my idol susan subo boyle lol

  • @hanghoodiescum Well she's so good looking.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY RİCK WAKEMAN (May 18)
