Being that I'm from the Phoenix area, I used to watch him play as a Phoenix Sun. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile. He was a great player, and when he retired to become a full time musician, I fell in love with his music. Thank you, Wayman, for making me a fan both on and off the court.
2008? This is from his Hang Time album which was released in 2004. I remember hearing it playing on V98.7 Smooth Jazz Detroit all the time during that year.
I saw Wayman at the Thornton Winery In Ca.. It was his first performance after
his fall. You could see and feel how happy he was to be performing on stage again....Between songs he would talk about what he was going through with everyone in the place hanging on his every word... It was a night I will never forget and..... It was the best concert I have ever been to by a mile.
Are you serious?! I was looking for this song just the other day and couldn't find it anywhere! Thank you so much - great song by the late Wayman Tisdale
