We almost lost Linden ave! A small part of it broke up further back. The length you are looking at here almost had one lane collapse. It's only one lane now as the land got eroded away all the way up to the street and under the street. They bulldozed back peoples lawns and it looks like they are making a new street.
Wow, dramatic. Where in Branford is this? I've stayed out on the Thimble Islands for over 30 years and haven't found out about those yet. Seeing these waves makes me wonder how the houses that are a stone's throw from the water held up on the islands because East Haven had four houses that were swept away into the water. Thanks for this.
