i have played this game before, but i only got about halfway through it because i couldnt figure out what to do.

I just started this today and I have to say I don't like it. The health system is 3 hits then respawn at beginning of level (terrible NES reminder). The camera is bad and I can't find anyway to invert the controls. While it seems like R&C completely ripped this off I think Insomniac improved upon it a lot.

@Blaiyan Although both games are similar in genre, ratchet and clank is also very different: for one thing clank develops his own controls and the moves are very different to those Jak performs, plus Ratchet and Clank involves going from one planet to the next whilst Jak and Daxter has non-linear, no missions gameplay (well, asides from collect a certain number of power cells). I'm amazed you don't like this game- it's epic :D

i only have jak 2, 3 and combat racing, i only played this game because someone borrowed me, i swear, if i find this thing for sale,...im gonna buy it (no matter what the price MAY BE :P), probably by far the best game in the series in terms of gameplay, and nostagia :(, thnx for uploading this it really brings back some good memories :'(

If you have an older ps3 model with backwards compatibility you can play the ps2 verision on your ps3 though.

There was only 1 problem with this series and if anyone remembers this reply to this comment. The only 1 problem was all the games took and insane amount of memory from your memory card. Jak and daxter took 691 kb, Jak 2 took 1,204 kb, Jak 3 took 1,601 kb, and Jak X combat racing took 984 kb.
