  • August is low, low season in Thailand and teh wettest and worst month of the whole year to go. If you traveleld there in high season, you would soon learn how badly orgainsed Suvarnabhumi airport is. It is quite common for queues to be so long that they stretch back beyond the passport control area to the departure gates area and you can be queuing up for 1 - 2 hours. It is in this respect the slowest airport where I have ever been .

  • I flew there this past August 2010. I was very surprised on how organized there passport control was.
