@spitfireJEJ It's not bleeding obvious because people are susceptible to losing faith in themselves. Including being affected by negative influences in their lives which tell them all sorts of lies about what they are capable of.

People need this sort of reminding so that they take it to heart and use it for the rest of their lives to achieve success.

All these self help gurus are fundamentally alike in that they exploit the common weaknesses of losers. People are fundamentally tribal - and for all their fluster and bluster they remain so throughout their lives. Only the outsiders to that paradigm ever win and they do not require the Napoleon Hill's of this world.

@spitfireJEJ Don't pretend that you are above them or anyone else. Your condescending attitude towards others shows you have alot to learn. When people are born they know nothing and have to learn as they go. Not everyone has the same upbringing or the same blessings. These self help gurus do profit but that's not to say that there aren't those that genuinely want to help. Also, if we had no gurus everyone would have to reinvent the wheel from birth over and over again. We teach others.

Hill gives 4 clues in Think and Grow Rich and says you can find the secret in every chapter of TAGR.

I would recommend reading Brian Kim's The Hidden Secret in Think and Grow Rich - it proves what it is using the clues and points out where it is in every chapter of TAGR.

The secert is your natural success mechanism - you realize you used it to achieve all your past goals and you don't even realize you used it because it's so natural in the first place.

no, the secret is "your THOUGHTS attract to you what you are thinking about". He went as far as to said this exactly in The Master Keys To Riches book a few years later.

Charles Haanel says that giving is a mental process. You can only give material things materially. Health and love is something you can only convey mentally, but you can also convey wealth mentally by a simple declaration of your own, ie "I am sending you wealth". You can practice that in trains, the tube, busses, stadiums, etc. As you focus your attention on this, you will become more conscious of it, and will therefore attract it into your own life. "Give and take" finally makes sense.
