Shakatak - Summer Sky

I got hooked on this group back in 1981 while station in Ft Hood Tx. Me and my Larry would head to Atlanta Ga and when it was time for me to drive this was my driving music. It bring back old times.

Really a summer song. It warms me in cold December, a month that I almost hate. I was born in June 25th so in my life I always used to love summer. Thumbs up for Shakatak and their keyboarder Bill Sharpe. His surname is what really he is: a very sharp keyboarder, only a few people in the music panorama reach his level. Nice pictures in the video but I'd love to live in cities so San Diego, Miami and the Asian triad Hong Kong - Bangkok - Singapore would perfectly accomplish my wish.

@WhiteBlueTiger88 Good comment my friend - Saw Shakatak a couple of evenings ago at the fabulous High Barn venue at Great Bardfield over here in the UK for their first gig of 2012 and they were superb! My wife and I spoke to Bill after the show where he kindly signed one of my original Shakatak vinyl album covers - he is such a modest and friendly person - a genius in every sense of the word.

@alanjazzfunk I was lucky enough to see Shakatak perform a brilliant set at the High Barn @ Great Bardfield near Braintree a couple of weeks ago. They sound as good today as ever they did - pure class from start to finish!
