Hex Defense Spoiler: Islands (Fast + Perfect Score)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I tried copying the video and still lost on hard. I was able to get 46,319 points on normal using a different strategy.

I am having difficulty getting the green hard check mark to show up when I beat some levels. Is this a bug, or do you have to beat them a certain way in order for it to show up.?

If you lose on Hard and then chose retry it will automatically change the difficulty to Normal so if you beat it you will not get the green checkmark for Hard because you actually beat it on Normal. You have to go to the Main Menu and start the level over again to play on Hard again. Hard is damn near impossible.

@420danmaynard You can beat islands on hard setting by putting double lasers to begin with in the same position as the video than put a missle just in front of the laser to kill the green boss. Than pimp-out the laser to full and pimp the missle to full and keep put missles in strategic positions always remembering to max out each guy before you place another one. Because a maxed out guy is stronger than 4+ basics. My best score so far on hard is 45,666 hard to beat that but I'm always trying...

@catchsumwaves Tip try hard setting with fast play and tapping the enemy base so you do have wait for the enemy to regenerate. Sounds hard put pretty easy once you get the hang of it. GOOD LUCK!!!

thanks for the video. this is on normal, which is really not difficult. on hard I was finally able to beat hard without losing any lives, but it took me weeks. that was a pain in the ass

@onelikeseabass lasers only on the right side. Middle and left same as you. It was a very slight tweak indeed.

Tweaked your strategy just a bit and went lasers only on the right side of the board. Was able to get perfect and over 50K on score. Again great video.

@joelkizz that's cool... how did you defeat the all green boss wiith only lasers? They don't have any affect.
