Scam indeed. It's all 'bout the money. Just look at Blizzard's evil creation - World of Warcraft. It encourages grinding and there's unnecessary traveling and waiting involved.
Of course, it's not much different from Arcade's designing games to kill you and make you restart so you put in more quarters, or even F2P games designed around making you want the paid content. Design and business model often go together, except in cases like Braid, where you're paying for an experience that wasn't designed around a business model.
Thats crazy paying for xp i mean whats the point playing the game if someone is leveling for you. Where is the achievement in that.
