  • Thats crazy paying for xp i mean whats the point playing the game if someone is leveling for you. Where is the achievement in that.

  • 6:01 I can hear him jell "I'M INVINCIBLE!"

  • 1:50 2fps? =/

  • Time is money, great way to drive the point home. I found the Romania part to be very interesting, never thought this business existed <@_@)

  • Man why is the guy hating on Charity like that?

    He jus jealous

  • MMORPG business models determine the grind-like nature of the design, it's a genre-wide scam. The bigger the budget, the less likely the design will experiement away from or towards other business models.

  • Scam indeed. It's all 'bout the money. Just look at Blizzard's evil creation - World of Warcraft. It encourages grinding and there's unnecessary traveling and waiting involved.

  • Of course, it's not much different from Arcade's designing games to kill you and make you restart so you put in more quarters, or even F2P games designed around making you want the paid content. Design and business model often go together, except in cases like Braid, where you're paying for an experience that wasn't designed around a business model.

  • awsome.
