It's not like Zelda games puzzled where you feel fulfilled. If your good with controllers and don't have difficulties with colors, I bet this game would not be difficult, and in the end you can actually feel fulfilled.
If you just check out IGN.com the team at DICE has confirmed that they want to bring a Mirror's edge 2. There are rumors that suggest that it might use the Battlefield 3 Frost bite engine.

Wtf? This game is GREAT! I just picked it up for my ps3 (although I have played it on my PC when it was released, but I missed it so I bought it again for ps3 cuz my PC sucks) and I still enjoy the game just as much as when it was released. Sure, now you can see that the graphics are a bit aged, but it was released in 2008 so whatever. This game deserves 10/10! It's really enjoyable and I've played the campaign like 10 times and have pwned the time trails. Mirrors Edge in my <3 forever and ever!
The only complaints I have this game is that I think the cutscenes could have been done in the game engine, or at least drawn out better, the style for some reason, didn't strike me as visually pleasing. That and there is no friggin SEQUEL to polish up it's mechanics. I could complain about mediocre gunplay but hey, you're really not supposed to be able to gun your way through, I personally like how gun's are useful yet not all powerful in this game.

Mirror's edge was an incredible, innovative, beautiful game that was drastically underplayed. I agree that there were some flaws, but none of them detracted from the overall amazing experience of this game. I would love, love, love to see a Mirror's Edge 2, where I'm sure every flaw would be fixed and it would definitely be in contention for game of the year.

Wow this guy SUCKS at reviewing. One of the big things that made me question this guy is the fact that almost all the mistakes they show are the person aiming incorrectly and missing a jump, even though he would go to say that it was because it was a "intricate jumping puzzle". Also, in my opinion, the gun play was meant to be awkward because SURPRISE! its not a shooter. The final thing is that the red painting of hints is, in my opinion, is supposed to fade away as you progress.

If this Trial and error results in your death, as in Vanord's case, means that you are simply not very good and die a lot.

Aw come on man, you just contradicted yourself. The gun play was bad? The game specifically mentions that it is AGAINST the use of guns. When did gamers become such cry babies? Wow this guy SUCKS at reviewing. One of the big things that made me question this guy is the fact that almost all the mistakes they show are the person aiming incorrectly and missing a jump, even though he would go to say that it was because it was a "intricate jumping puzzle". Also, in my opinion, the gun play was meant to be awkward because SURPRISE! its not a shooter. The final thing is that the red painting of hints is, in my opinion, is supposed to fade away as you progress.

fire this reviewer.... please. he highlighted and repeated the same things over and over again because he was "infuriated" at the fact that he sucks at this game. i have played this game through many times and can personally say it is a game that i WILL keep over the years to play again and again because no other game has done what this game did, that is, give a nice and submersive game, while also encouraging you to get off your fat ass and actually go out to learn parkour!

Kevin VanSuck sucks at this game. This game is a breath of fresh air and originality in an age of Call of Boredom: Modern Sameness 79. It is brilliant, original, awesome, fun, beautiful!!! This is a very bad review of the game and his criticisms are completely unwarranted. Trial and Error? Without it this fool would bitch that the game was too easy!! And bad gun play? That is not a main aspect of this game! You're not a super soldier jumping from roof to roof you're runner!

@imsleepyanddead He is basically criticizing the game because you have to use on-the-spot thinking to get through the level quickly without dying, which he implies he finds difficult "when it takes 10 or 11 tries to figure out" Which is actually pretty easy and takes about 2 or 3 tries if it's a hard level. And the gameplay in the background shows him failing again and again at the simplest sections I figured out just watching the video

@dav1n7hule Well, that's just you that can play this game virtuosically. He doesn't like it because it's a trial-and-error game, a gameplay mechanic that I don't like either. Also, he never said he hated it, what took away in gameplay flaws made up for some in terms of art style, sound and music. a 7/10 isn't a bad score in any way.

The "trial and error" mechanic you state doesn't exist if you are good at this game and can think on your feet to react to sudden changes (Like the crane as it drops and spins) and react accordingly. If this Trial and error results in your death, as in Vanord's case, means that you are simply not very good and die a lot.

No offense to whoever was playing in this one but when he was complaining about tricky and slow jumps ( e.g. the bit where he jumped to the pole then the box at 3:53) but it was so slow becuase the guy playing really sucked :/

the sniper pit @ Piranello-Kruger
The Elevator shaft @ the shard
And the final play sequence ironically. (There is exactly 1 safe route through it hard mode so you need cover from all the ar's)
Other than those three spots it was easy. Mostly
