@youiable yes you should and it is, my sister has one and nothing is worng with it and she has the stock 75 HP engine, and were thinkin about doing a VR6 swap in her car. and its not expensive for this car. its quite cheep IF you have friends or car clubs who can hook a brother up :P

The Mk2 is very reliable, i've got 250 000+ kms on my odometer and it's still running on almost all original part plus with all the Mk2's on the road, it's very easy to find second hand replacement parts for little money
