This is so tremendous!!! And I know it is all the doing of Alex on that stage - his vision is breathtaking. I know he included players from every part of violin tradition in Norway, from the great Hardanger fiddler Knut Buen to modern Valkyrien Allstars, and the beautiful classical violinists - there is room for them all on the generous stage of Alexander Rybak.

Wow, it was amazing! I guess you all saw Ragnhild Hemsing, the partner of Hallgrim Hansegård in Frikar? Both she and Valkyrien Allstars (the three in front of the stage) competed in Kjempesjansen against Alexander when he won that. What a great group of fiddlers together! And what a night for Alexander! Congratulation with the most prestigious award!! It was very much deserved!
