I got my copy when I was in Athens with my then girlfriend in 1991. There was a record store (not Wuxtry) in Athens where Michael L. from Pylon was interviewed in a documentary where I bought a cassette of Pylon's "Chain", a CD of their Hits, Husker Du's "Zen Arcade" and Machines of Loving Grace's "Rite of Shiva" CD single. Mike Mills was there (from R.E.M), and I almost exploded. This song is so heavy with nostalgia that it ranks as one of my top sentimental songs. R.I.P Randy Brewley...
I've always felt like I was in this very exclusive club that knew this band/record existed. It reminds me of a time and place in my young formidable tastes. Everyone hears it has to recognize... this is cool
