Did it ever occur to you that some people like myself don't focus our attention on defending ourselves? I know it's a survival thing, and when I was younger, yeah. I've been accused of setting "my bar" too high...that my moral compass is too idealist because I'm a pro peace and think America has gone to the dogs over this war and people are without health care, jobs, etc. I march, I speak out, I am condemned and called too hard to be around because of my "high moral compass". But not for people like us, women would still be chattel, vets wouldn't have more rights, the corruption would continue. Wake up people, you all make a difference. Love this song.

being pro-peace is one thing, but to say that when our existence is threatened? sorry, but you have to be willing to kill if you want to exist. healthcare isn't the government's responsibility, if we'd leave the economy alone we'd have more jobs, and all that other social crap like welfare and social security will drag us down. this song isn't simply anti-war; its message is broader and and deeper than merely anti-war.
