well video poster, for a kid who has a crap phone that doesn't get tv and since I'm going to be in class during alot of fifa world cup games, this is the perfect device for me
i have one i dont take it every where i go i only take it if i know ill be in the car for mor than an hour..... and cmon its not that expensive its a one time fee of 200$ and a monthly of 15$ or atleast thats what mine is
The flo tv rep makes some points on it being a standalone device. It's "expensive " at $250 but not mentioned is price includes - NO contract & 6 Mos of service($90). After doing my research at AT&T and Verizon for flo tv cable devices the touch phones offered do not have WIFI. To get a FloTV phone at a $0 price like the samsung mythic get stuck on a new 2 yr plan. What I like about this standalone is no interuption from incoming calls, 5hr battery, big screen than a service capable phone.
Pretty cool. I use my iPhone with Sprint MyFi coverage to run Slingplayer when I'm in remote locations. This device seems to have coverage in all the areas where I wouldn't use it...so not quite what I would buy yet. Or I will run SlingPlayer with my NetBook. The clarity and quick response is appealing though.

I'll stick with my Slingbox on my smartphone and computer. It gives me all of my satellite channels and dvds with no additional monthly charges.

I'd rather jut spend that 249 on my regular cable bill. its a luxury not a necessity

That is really cool but I will probably not buy it because for 250 that pays for about a year or two of tv on your phone
