  • ezylega: you're a f-ing moron.

Go Paul Watson! Screw those stupid barbaric whale hunters. I hope you sink the Japanese fleet this year. If they use this stuff again - pull out the guns and start shooting at their equipment. If they are gonna play dirty, it's time for US to play dirty.

Rot in hell Japanese whalers. I hope you all fall overboard and drown in the icy sea.

  • This a non story, It's all about money. People pay big money for the meat. People make a living going and "defending" the whales. The world has some many problems that could be fixed but no money in that.

  • LOL The Japanese Whalers shouldn't even be there in the first place. They are not whaling within their own boundaries meaning we have evry right to stop them, because their culture was actually small scale coastal whaling, not large scale whaling in the Antartic lol

  • Whats wrong with the Japanese Whalers defending themselves from attack? They have a right to self defence. they get harrassed by the SS, rammed, projectiles thrown onto the ship endangering peoples safety. Its perfectly ok for the Japanese to defend themselves.

  • japanese are always lairs

  • Kick some ass paul!, and this is coming from a meat eating pheasant hunter :P

  • JDASpen is as stupid as she has always been.

If you are not found of being used weapons, do not initiate violent actions, or better yet, stay home. Japan is legally defending itself.

  • f*** tha defending whales asshole

  • Now I am not trying to offend any Japanese people (like the 2 in my class) but GOSH DANG IT JAPAN!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE MAKING ME SO TICKED I JUST WANT TO SCREAM.(Id do it if my sister wasnt asleep.)

  • Already forgotten weapons setting up on Steve Irwin?

And it is just kind of a protecting tool warding off attacks from those ticks

  • Japanese whaling ships are not allowed to utilize Australian and New Zealand ports because of the recognition and condemnation by these two nations of Japans unlawful whaling operations.

  • The United Nations World Charter for Nature establishes the foundation for Sea Shepherd to intervene against illegal whaling activities however Japanese whaling activities are illegal under IWC regulations and the provisions of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, the Antarctic Treaty and a Federal Australian Court Order prohibiting whaling by Japan in the Australian Antarctic Territory.

  • faggot

  • good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • only jp scum!! OK??

  • S C U M JDsAspen

  • Call me what ever you want, it can not hurt me, Keep up the Great work Capt.Paul

  • Solution to sonic weapons. ANR aviation grade head sets. 21db active noise reduction + 17db passive noise reduction. Additional implementation of simple ear plugs worn under the head sets would bring total noise reduction to -53db. Well withing comfort range of the Zodiac crews. Approx cost each headset, $500 on ebay. +$10 for ear plugs. No biggie. Look for brand names like Telex Lightspeed or Dave Clark. Bosse make a real nice head set but it's really expensive.

  • Watson and the Sea SHephrd crew are the ones doing the assaults. The Whaling crew are only defending themselves.

ANd don't forget the SS throws Butyric acid at the crew which can permanently blind a person. Clearly Watson and his crew can dish it out but can not take it.

  • Butric acid can permanently blind a person?? Has this happened to a whaler?? Show me the news item on this. Your comment is kind of cute actually.

  • one or two years ago soem whalers and a coast guard member had the acid sprayed into their eyes and it caused pain and some vision damage, I'm not sure if it was permanent but the MSDS reports state that it is very dangerous to the get it into your eyes.

It happened because the high winds in the SOuthern Ocean blow the acid that had shattered o nthe ship across the deck.

Read the MSDS report on butyric acid, you will find that it is also specifically toxic to aquatic organisms

  • Thanks for the info, mikee. I didn't know that. But I seriously doubt that butyric acid is as toxic to aquatic organisms as the people who pillage the seas for profit are.

  • LOL, Japan isn't making a profit, for many reasons, one being the meat is only sold to market under IWC guidelines so it is not wasted. Though the fishermen that work hard in a harsh climate are given a box of whale meat each as a gift. Watson won't attack ICeland/Norway anymore so he only calls for boycotts there. ICeland and Norway both commercially hunt whales

  • Yes look at my video watch?v=FcBK3k55oR8

Butyric acid is far more likely to kill marine organisms instantly than an explosive harpoon.

The sea shepherd terrorists go on and on about how dangerous explosives harpoons are but they are really not very lethal to marine life.

In fact rather than killing whales instantly they may take half an hour to die and may only really be dead when cut up by knives on deck so the danger of harpoons is over rated.

Acids of course of any kind will kill instantly

  • Mikee, you are so right.

And have you read the MSDS report on phosphoric acid!!!!

It's even worse than Butyric acid.

Sheesh, that Phosphoric stuff will dissolve you to the bone.

No wonder terrorists keep it in bottles with red labels with the acronym " Certain Of Killing Everyone" ( Coke)

  • I have a background in chemistry, so I understand where people are coming from on the butyric acid debate.

Pure butyric acid is 10.9M (M standing for molar). Wikipedia says this under the "chemistry" section of its Butyric acid article. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "molar," it is the number of moles of solute over the liters of solution (mol/L). I won't explain what a mole is because I think that wikipedia does a pretty good job of explaining it

    10.9M of anything can hurt.

  • Then you should appreciate that pure acetic acid is more than 14.99M which is higher than Butyric acid, yet most people consume sushi with this dangerous acid which in concentrated form is caustic, causes skin burns, permanent eye damage etc etc.

For those unfamiliar with chemistry, this extremely dangerous acetic acid is found in Vinegar and salad dressing.

Concentration and dilution are important factors to know rather than demonising a solution because the 100% pure form is hazardous.

  • You are an idiot. acetic acid used in food is not pure. it is diluted and not very dangerous.

The butyric acid used by the sea shepherd crew is pure putyric acid from a chemical company.

  • That's was exactly my point.

I gave a genuine example of someone using acetic acid on food and my comments about the dangers of pure acetic acid were also true.

A rash assumption is to suggest that use of that acid must be in 100% pure concentration.

Why are you so sure the solution thrown by SS must be 100% pure butyric acid?

Can you cite a non speculative source where the exact concentration of solution thrown is documented?

  • In regards to throwing stink solution there is an anomaly in regards to claimed injuries caused by the solution.

If anyone had genuinely been injured then the Pro whaling publicists would have had a field day distributing images of blinded whalers and inflamed faces and skin rashes. Would they be so naive not to try to distribute photos of injuries to whalers to counter the images of injuries to whales?

They should have plenty of cameras on board to document... um.. "research".

  • fu** you you wanna kill whale go ahead go hunt with japanese you freak!

  • haha lol you tell 'im!

  • LAIRS?what?

    You wanna say Liars?

    lol

  • Fuck you JDSASPEN

  • Pedophile ezylega

  • I hate whaling. With that being said, I don't see any problems the acoustic defense because Sea Shepherds are the ones harassing the other party. In short Sea Shepherds go back to US, whalers go back to Japan.

  • Thanks a lot for doing this evidence! Ghomtu
