The short battery life is I think mainly because of OSX Lion.. When I installed OSX Lion on my MacbookPro 17" (that should hold 8 hours), I only got about 3 hours with OSX Lion..... I needed to reset PRAM/NVRAM and SMC for about 5-6 times before I got my 8 hours back.

@renegade8164 Yes, on Apple discussion forums they talk about it. If you reset the power management, your battery life will go up to 5 hours.

@OmniTechNews great way to handle criticism. mature... wasn't mid-2011 three months ago? Good review though, cuts didn't bother me too much. However what about the lack of a DVD drive? makes it useless for video editing (except maybe for online video) and gaming unless you buy an external.which defeats the light and mobile purpose. What about likeliness to overheat due to the small form factor and thus bad cooling infrastructure?
