Oh I remember this!! My friend and I were driving late to zero hour in Boise when we saw it. We concidered skipping and going to find it since we were already late. good thing we didnt. i heard it landed in some random part of Oregon. Man that was an awesome crazy moment.
This was a meteor. There wasn't a 72-hour news blackout on the separate event involving the USS Lake Erie firing an SM-3 SAM at the satellite a day after this event happened.
its was huge almost like something you would see in a ScFi movie seeing it from up at the foot hills was a bit eirie and very close cause it looked like it was going to crash over a big hill thats next to are work i was going to go investigate it but i thought what if this turns out to be the Blob or an alien abduction
This was by far the coolest this i haver ever seen you had to see it for your self it was cool and stuning
6:30 am is when we saw it we said to are selfs man we got the best of it we saw it befor and after it flaired up into a green welding light we saw it from the side we thoguth it crashed behind the hill
I live in Boise and i saw this at 6:30 am with my mom we were on the way to work when all of a sudden we turn in to work and right infront of use above a hill we here a flair like noise and a big green welding light comes out of the sky it was big i swear it was going to impact the ground we work at Flora Company in the foot hills next to simplot hill this thing was big then 10 min later it was on 105.9 FM some one called in as a witness then it was on the news a 6:00
if u didnt see that ur blind it says in the northwest sky slook there right when the car passes by at 0:16 to 0:19

our gov has a 72 hour news blackout when ever something happens... don't think this was a meteor... think it was a part of that satellite.
maybe they were waiting to see where the debries hit and if anyone got hurt.
