The "New" Lowrey organs are not really digital. The only thing digital is the drums patterns, the rest are analog. None of the organ voices and solo voice are digital, but pure analog. You want digital, recommend Wersi as the organs are totally digital.
Hi Richard, As a former Lowrey salesman and someone who played the bars and supper clubs in the 70's, at first I thought you were a organ salesman in the UK.
Do you have any of the digital Lowreys? If not, you'll be shocked how much they have improved. If you haven't heard one, type Lowrey Majesty in the search. When it opens, look for "Poco Loco" by Jerry and you'll hear me play one.
I got donated an organ and i'm trying to find out the exact make/model so i can get a manual and stuff for it (My boogie woogie button has stopped working :'( ) but there's so many holiday with magic genie models i aint sure which mine is...it looks like that one though!
Hi Richard,That was very nicely done. I have a D500 also that I purchased about 5 years ago here in North Carolina for $400.00. How does that compare to 99p? I've heard you before on the Lowrey forum and it is nice to watch you play. Keep up the good work.
Steve, Thanks for your comments. 99p in UK money is abour $2 of yours! Electronic organs have no secondhand value here, and expecially non- workers! Richard.
Thanks for your comments. The Lowrey Coronation D500 was an early eighties instrument & is the same as a Contempo 80, but in a more traditional case. I bought the organ off Ebay for 99p last year. I collect Lowrey organs.
Thanks for the info, and again, well played, I enjoyed it. A collection of Lowreys eh? That must take some space! = D ... Although if I could pick up working instruments for 99p I would probably start a collection also; although the present Mrs Wrighty205 would probably drop them on me from a great height... = ) Keep up the good work!
I've never bought a working organ yet, they've all had to be sorted out. There's never been a Mrs G0OJF .... my trouser padlock is firmly in place! I've just been recording a track on my Wurlizer 4700 AGO console with SpectraTone. Richard

Nice playing. It would sound great on a theatre organ.

I love this song, a Jerome Kern classic of the highest order. Nicely played too Richard! = )
Nice looking/sounding Lowrey too, can't say I'm familiar with that model... any more info on it?
