I remember Pogs. I had tubes full of them. Ranging from the "official" Pogs (with the Pogman mascot), to the really cheapo pogs (solid metal slammers). I remember playing at primary school and trading Pogs with my friends at the time.

Last night I was hanging out with my friend John, and we were reminiscing about the days when we worked at a gaming store and kids would come in for Pokemon, Crazy bones, whatever else the felt they "NEEDED".. anyway, he feared that there may be a resurgence of POGS as the next wave of remakes.. looking at this description, I think it will be coming.

I'm all for POGS! Vegas needs a game like it. you stack your chips and then slam em, you win the same way you'd win with POGS!

We had them in Mexico, they were called Tazos and came free inside bags of chips. The best has to be the Tazos for the first Pokemon season. The collection was the 151 original Pokemon plus the super rare Ash one.

Pogs were the first few years of elementary school for me and then people started really getting into Crazy Bones. Those were really cool. Kind of like the pogs idea but they were plastic, colourful, pebble-shaped characters that had a theme.

I was a little old for the pog craze. I remember hearing about it, but never participated. My favorite childhood past time was a modified dart game that my dad and I played. We bought dart guns that had bullet shaped hard rubber darts. We put the darts in the gun backwards which created more air resistance so that when we shot them at each other they'd leave welts. Then we set up all my GI Joe toys, dad was GI Joe, I was COBRA and we shot each other's guys until all were dead = facedown.

Oh, yes)) In Spain they were called Tazos, I remember it well, me and my brother spent all the lunchtime break in school playing with other kids, winning, losing.... oh, what a great time was that!! My other favourite game was Canicas (I think they're called Marble in Canada and USA), those beautiful little glass balls, with colors inside, oh, and some very expensive with drawings on them.
