A year later, early octobre, I walked through Rotterdam, shooting pictures, to settle myself from a rough period my woman and I were going through, that is, she was pregnant of our son, and had to get into the hospital 11 weeks early. But as I said, I was walking Rotterdam, and passed the old Nighttown, a poster was hanging there, from a gig a year earlier, a day prior to this gig in Eindhoven, where me and my woman saw them, to make a long story short... my son had a name.... Joseph!

I saw Joseph performing in Uppsala (Sweden) in the beginning of August 2006. He looked very tired during the show. One week later he passed away in Berlin. R.I.P.

Mr Hill, I met you at a record shop up here in California back in the early 90's and you and I conversated for a while, i still hold the International herb cassette till this day with your autograph which says "louis keep jammin to reggae music" signed Joseph Hill. I recall meeting with Joseph Hill and the members of Culture in Toronto when they played the El Mocambo. It must have been in the mid to late 90's. Hanging on the parked tour bus and sharing was great. The following morning Joseph invited me to have breakfast with him and some of the crew and friends. His wife was there and I presented him with a gift, Bhagavad-Gita-As It Is.
