This shows how little Simon Cowell actually knows about real music and real artists. This guy is absolutely fantastic, so much soul in his vocal. If anyone had seen that no-talent idiot Rihanna sing this same song on X-Factor UK you'd see the gulf between this guy and her. Josh actually has a stronger technical voice than Rihanna. Her video + version is artistic genius but vocally, he's stronger. I agree that he's very diverse and versatile and should win since he constantly shows really incredible performances. He has emotion and vocals- Melanie is a great singer but except for Desperado and World's Greatest she didn't have enough emotion to pull it off I think

The fact of the matter is he takes chances with other songs that aren't exactly... "up his alley". Enjoy the different types of music that he does and the twist he brings with it. Is it better than the original song? Not everyone will say yes, but it's not the purpose of singing artist' songs in Xfactor.

I personally love this man. Week after week you should look at how his appearance is; much more calm, subtle, dedicated, powerful, and just a soother and calmer demeanor that inspires.

Josh simply killed this song. Don't listen to this type of music but he made the song come alive. Bohoboss hit it dead on, Josh should win this competition because of how diverse he is. Everyone up there except for Chris as well can only sing one style. Josh was the only contestant to come out of their comfort zone when he did the foo fighters for rock week when no one else really performed a rock song, michael jackson week, and this week.

I think he's great, he is the only one that comes out of his comfort zone( on jackson week and then doing this dance number ), on rock week, he was the only one that did rock too !! Obviously LA is going to hate this performance because he manages Rihanna and he doesn't want another version to steal her limelight. I like the Rihanna version but I thought AT LEAST Josh didn't copy it and sound karaoke.
