im learning play a guitar. im thinking i have good lvl up at Nothing Else Matters. Next i just remember i forgott Tenacious D... and now i know im shitty. thanks JB and Kage.
You do know that this is not a song by Tenacious D, but a medley of The Who songs, right? Pardon me if I misunderstood what you said.
Anyway, on topic: I'm usually picky with my covers, specially when I think how amazing The Who is live, but I must admit Tenacious D did a great job in this medley.
@Alcarinmaethor he's not just singing, in the same time, he always tells a fairy tail. he's one of the best, yet one the best comedians. his talent is limitless. LIMITLESS! in every way.
@KurisuKurai i cant find any of these songs eccept pinball wizard(sorry for the english i am swedish) sincerely sjtagresor(this is my new account if youre wondering)
would of been awesome see the pause and JB sing "See me, Feel me, Touch me, Heal me" during we're not gonna take it at the end.... Amazing stuff none the less
If the Who won't do a Tommy tour, then fucking have Tenacious D do it!
Although I'd prefer the Who performing Tommy, the Who doesn't seem too convincing when they talk about upcoming tours, because they talk about it for the next year, the next year comes, then they talk about a tour again and it doesn't come either, and stuff. Yep. Pingas pickle!
@Erkrez You clearly are no D fan, It's Charlie on Bass, The Antichrist on guitar, and Colonel Sanders on drums. If' you're gonna inform somebody, do it correctly.
people that say that this would rock if jb did it serious can drown in the shit!! this is he's way! it makes him jack black... if he did in serious, its not Jb anymore!!
It's Pinball Wizard, There's a Doctor and the "Listening to you..." chorus is from the end of the last song on the "Tommy" album, We're not gonna Take it.
@legojunk53 check out the entire tommy album, there isn't a bad tune on it man. Imho you should skip the movie, although the cast is full of rockstars.
hey you guys i have made a video called "tribute to tenacious d "using this song in the background . all of you watch it and read the description there will be more information there.comment on it ok?
@timmytankTK Well, if you put it that way then it would be potentially the most beautiful song but, JB would not be JB and that would be sad as well xD
@timmytankTK Dude, different people have different ways of playing. JB takes it up to where he feels comfortable by dancing around and sorta slipping in different voice styles to hit different octaves. It's not always about trying to make it sound like the original, it's about the fun of it.
Man I love this! The way they put all the songs together into the medley is amazing and the best part is that all those songs are the best! I love the who and Tommy! Long live the D!
pinball wizard, theres the doctor, go to the mirror. the play the beggining and part of end, all of theres the doctor, and the end of go to the mirror
