Deb's description of Lila is spot on! I cannot deny that Lila is beautiful, sexy and alluring, but from the very first moment she was on screen, there was just something gross and creepy about her. Great job by actress Jaime Murray. As always, Jennifer Carpenter is just perfect. Deb is one of my favorite female characters on television.

Thank you THANK YOU so much for posting this. It's my favorite Dexter scene - I LOVE seeing them act like siblings, and this makes me smile every time I think of it. She is SO the perfect little sister here! She looks completely disgusted... "and NOBODY'S pale in MIAMI!" His response is the perfect big brother retort! Rewind the scene 10 years & they'd be sticking their tongues out at each other. (I bet they laughed A LOT filming this!)

I find it so hilarious that Dexter said "It's not like you would try to sleep to the top." & Deb thinks he's being a douche to her when he's actually being nice, it all just comes out wrong. & LOL at "Don't worry, I'm sure a thought like that wouldn't even cross anyone's mind here at work." He was perfectly serious that neither he nor anyone else would judge her for that, but it just comes out sounding so bad. Haha :) I love how clueless he is sometimes.
