Try Uncle Funky's daughter! I have very course hair too but uncle funky's gives me definition. I just drench my hair and while still in the shower I rake the product through with my fingers and shake it out to define the curls. Try it and let me know if it works! I wish you luck on your journey!

All thru youtube there are sistahs with supposingly 4c hair which does not resemble mine one iota. Of course when they show different styles I know it will not come out the same for me and of course it NEVER does. Thank goodness I've found a few sistahs who are genuine 4c and can relate to their 'struggle' with their hair.
