@Keira090 I would not blink an eye before suggesting the Galaxy S. It is faster phone than the N97 and also has a better OS and is quite future-proof. Galaxy S is a hundred times better option than N97. If you really want to have a nokia phone go for the N900 or N8 else stick to Galaxy S.

1) samsung has better connectivity. it has 3.0 bluetooth, while desire has 2.0 b-tooth.

2) galaxy is alot lighter it weighs 118g, while desire's weight is 135g. galaxy is also 2 centimetres thinner.

3) talking about cameras i think it's a clear draw, because samsung doesn't have camera flash, that's a big minus, however it has a great video HD recording, and desire doesn't have hd recording, but it has camera flash

You do have som valid points. The truth is that there are only a few valid designs when it comes to smart phones that need a big screen (4"). Different ways to access the screen if it e.g. had a keyboard but even that has limitations. Mostly clamshell, slide or flip. At this point I'm happy if it works like it should. However the lack of flash makes me worried about the battery life ..could be why there is none... Price is still €600-650 here.. release date 16 or 17 of June...

@Gambit58 I am am very happy with battery, 1500mAh and then Samsungs AMOLED uses 20% less also its CPU is 45mn feature size rather than 65mn.... So it should be the best smartphone in its class for battery. Much better than any snapdraggon phone.

I got a mail from somone.. this is an old post but I'll just answer ASDprotected. After updating 20 Fro-Yo all the problems connecting with keys have dissapeared. You don't heven have to connect in keys mode after that, just drag your avi movies and such to the device in mass storage mode. NO conversion needed. The only phone on the market that can take a full hd rip of a movie and play it like it is without conversion... prestty cool. Stil hate Kies though..
