ya know, i was actually unsurprised by it being mirror. i never liked him much anyway, and it *does* add up. like, 'forgetting' to remind the girls to lock the bean room after they left in book one? and so on. but i didn't even think it was possible for it to be him, cuz of all the stuff bunny and charming had said about magic mirrors i didn't think it was possible for him to do that.
