  • Can you give a quick n' dirty tutorial on how to export it to Radiant, if you've done it yet?

Do you think it would import to GTK?

  • @Bobcaticus Sure dude i will do a Tutorial video soon. Atm i stuck a little on the Blender optimizationscript ... All works fine ... only one object dont become optimized. After this i will do a tutorial video :o

  • @dietunichtguten Thanks man! Is it relatively straightforward or is there a lot of editing to be done?

Also, do you think GTK would import this okay?

  • @Bobcaticus its streight forward when i figure out the last one issue from the blender script wish optimize the obj export from sauerbraten/sandbox. This script can optimize the polygons from a mesh in blender. I spoke about this script with a blender dev. Come to IRC we can speak in detail about it and if you have python knowledge your the one wish i neeed to help me ;)

  • @Bobcaticus i can import my mesh to netradiant as ase file than

  • @Bobcaticus u need to edit texture pathes for the ase file in notepad++ after optimazition too ... so maybe its not that straight forward you think. But if i realy get the optimization its also good for using sandbox/sauerbraten as a common 3D tool :)

  • better you come to IRC ... i dont like that youtube chattering =D its irretating :p

  • @Bobcaticus If you want private conversation about come to Quakenet @ IRC in channel #DieTunichtguten ... And privmsg Hypnosekroete D: Maybe im not online to this time ... u need to idle a little

  • Interesting workflow (and fun looking map).
