In fairness to Regine she was the first singer to ever make all the songs Charice's singing nowadays famous and we all know that Charice took a cue from Regine's Singing. Wether we like it or not. "And I am telling you and You'll never walk alone" are all revival version of Regine way back in the 90's which garnered her the first SouthEast Asia Award as the best singer back then beating other countries top performers.

when Banig reached 16 her voice changed dramatically, it wasn't the same as compared to when she was younger. it was different for Charice, her voice when she was 7 is somewhat, if not much better, now when she is already 16.

Disagree Banig is legendary old school you can never tell how good she is becoz you never had been in her time. She won all contest when she was little. Maybe she doesn't have a good manager. Charice was the new IT girl right now bcoz of YouTube and truly amazing voice which has a unique power to it. She's smarter bcoz of her career moves and connections.
