i fly the same exact plane but i havent done anything like that lol and FAA wont allow anyway cuz to do any aerobatics where i live is illegal unless u have a parachute lol
I honestly don't know why the FAA is so scared of spins. The DA20 spins great, and it doesn't take an incredible amount to recover. I really wouldn't even bother taking a parachute with me in an Eclipse, as you would never be able to safely egress in flight and use the chute.

My instructor at the time was demonstrating.
katanas spin very well, it can get pretty tight, i wouldnt recomend doing it alone, unless you know what your doing.
