DVD-RW can't be read by the Xbox360 Disc Drive even if it is a Firmware modded console. He us using mod like JTag, FreeBoot, and XELL to do it.

I've made the jtag hack to retreive dvd-key, never tried the xell loader, but seen it working, so no doubt believing that, only that 4.8dvd seems weird ...

If it was a DVD I would tell you to just compress it but this is ISO and will ruing a DVD-R DL(This is the only type of disc that can be read.

I did the xd mod. I can't seem to get my hack.bin to work. xell boots, but I don't get the ROL countdown for when I'm supposed to switch nands. I think I may have the wrong smc_hacked.bin. Where did you get yours? Did you just use the one for cygnos? Anything else special I have to do that differs from the freeboot readme?
