@deerhuntingmullins Both use the 7mm bullet, the 7mm-08 case is a necked down .308 your mag case is based on something else don't remember but its a magnum so it shoots a bit flatter then my 7mm-08 but you pay for it in the size of the gun and its a long action, mines short action so my weight is less and so is recoil, look up the ballastics on both cartridges you will see what Im talking about, I've owned 7mags before didn't like em but to each his own.
@THEHOGZONE yea i will thanks for the advice i like mine havent shot a pig with it yet just got it not to long ago i have shot a deer this year with it i use hornady superformance 154 grain bullet its a nice bullet to use

@dnahoghunter nephew missed that other boar and a spike that evening, way it goes sometimes can't get em all, all the bullets I've found look about the same, I'm liken those fusion bullets
