  • wow, good job...i love this song

  • nobody is stealing shit.

We know it's an Armenian song. This song was made more than 40 years ago by the IRanian Communist Party. It has nothing to do with mullahs.

  • dude this song is like 40 years old

  • The original song is "Sari sirun yar" composed by Gusan (Troubadour) Ashot (Ashot Hayrapeti Dadalian) born in Goris, Armenia 12 April 1907. He started his career in 1928 with such songs as "Ashugh em", Varvogh ser", etc. His primary instrument was the kamancha.

  • In 1976 Gusan Ashot was awarded the title of People's Artist of Armenia. His published collections of songs include "Gusanakan yerger" 1946, "Gusani sere" 1955, "Gusani Sere" compleate and notated 1958, "Siro nvagner" 1979 and "Lernere kanchum en" 1988. Gusan Ashot died in Yerevan, Armenia 28 January 1989 and is buried in Goris, Armenia.

  • wow, thanks.

  • mharout: thank you so much for letting us know about the origin pf this beautiful song.I just listened to it ,performed by an armenian orchestra and it was so beautiful. The Iranian Armenians also have always contributed a lot in the fields of arts culture and many other fields.they have always been side by side with the rest of the populatin of Iran .

  • @mharout u are very much correct on this i asked my grandfather ....nice looking up the facts... iranians back then actually gave credit to the armenians for this song.... i think its amazing though that they used it in the student rev back then and now its being turned on them and used in this new movement... so thank u for looking up this information ...thank u to the original composer of this song and to the people who use this in such a moving way .... peace and love

  • the persian lyrics were written by the prerevolutionary leftist and are referring to khosro golsorkhi..

so this is not pro mullah..

and infact many of their (leftist) songs are armenian folk songs because they were often in the mountains in the north, so they had a good cultural exchange.. infact many of the leftist where armenian too..

  • great performance, a nice interpertation of the original

  • where is this place??

  • IT WAS FANTASTIC, THANKS.
