Confession and penance is the second most beautiful thing I have as a person let alone a Catholic. I think father Larry's charisma is the best! At times you think he might be a little nuts but the message is clear through it all. We're all sinners and we can be forgiven all we have to do is ask and be willing to cooperate with the grace of god not to sin again.
are you even Catholic? Do you even understand why Catholics go to confession? his emotions are a tool for inspiring self-reflection and, ultimately, to encourage peopel to go to confession.
@StaplesLewis I'll respect him more once he starts speaking from the heart rather than using his rehearsed speech that he's been using for many many years. I saw this speech 2 days ago 3/10/2012. I'd love to believe that there is a god, but when someone like this claims they can wash away my sins I have serious doubts.

what an idiot...the best reason for not going to confession...has he even a bit of control over his emotions
