you dont really need an external drive but... they say its better to use an external drive because a computer is always using the main hard drive for other stuff... programs running in background and all that... so in theory its suppose to be faster...
@youngsneaks101 hello... i use a pc i just took an old pc with windows xp cause they didnt have windows 7 drivers out when i bought mine... just make sure you use an intel dual core at least. and the fast memory...xp only supports 3 gigs of memory... i only use 2. and mine works fine... i am looking to get a laptop now to run it on cause its a bitch having to set up a pc and dj equip... oh and make sure you use an external hardrive for all your music...
im still having a hard time with my scratching. can you explain it any better in your next video or something so i can understand what im doing wrong?
i know your just getting back into it, but if you dont mind a little advice... Focus on working the sound of the scratch with the music a little more, a lot of your scratching is just forced in> the scratching should act as another instrument within the song, it should compliement not dominate, unless you are battling then you can let the scratch lead. But good job for just coming back.
Thanks for the advice. it was alot easier to scratch back then. this music now have alot of garbage that makes it hard. but i just like fooling with it. The funny thing is when i dj i dont scratch at all.

@albertcamerota practice at it. to start off it is easier to scratch on words rather than music so download some talking or rapping with no music.
