I liked Blake because of his originality, and Jordin was definitely a great singer, but Melinda should have won. She was by far the best singer in that season of American Idol, maybe in all of the seasons.

Melinda was so humble that she had it in her head that she was not as good a singer as everyone knows she is. Simon was telling her to acknowledge this fact.
