  • iono but your vids dont help me..sorry...maybe its your style i cant understand it

  • personally, I like this cover of Lucky the most :)

  • this helped a lot, thanks! also, my dog started barking when he heard your dog in the background. :)

  • Thanks ALOT. I couldn't completely figure out your strumming pattern

  • Have you ever used any of bluechip's thumb picks? I never used a thumb pick before and don't know how good they are for fingerpicking songs. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • Can you tell me which picks you recommend from blue chip picks? There are a bunch of pick options and don't know which size or one to get. Thanks for the recommendations.

  • like it says in the description i use the tpr60. let me know how you like it!

  • this is awesome!!!!!!!!! Helps a lot! thank you!

  • and one more question. which do you strum?

  • well im jus a beginner also and i dont know anything but the frets and i call the deepest string 1 and highest pitch string 6. and i still dont get what your talking about "bass"? sorrry for being so slow

  • You better get used to the fact that, the deepest string is the sixth string. You won't find videos or other materials, where the "deepest" string is called the 1st string. Therefore:

    6th = low e (deepest)

    5th = a

    4th = d

    3rd = g

    2nd = b

    1st = high e (highest)

  • its not that hard to do that cuz i can get used to it easily

  • Bass string is the string that's closer to your chin and one furthest from is the highest string E and your read the strings left to right E(low E)(string at top) A D G B E(high E) string at bottom

  • thanks for share!

  • youre the best!!!!

  • this is just so you see my right hand. left hand doesnt change.

  • Thx~

  • thanks!! great vid. im a beginner and i understood most of it.

    but i have a question: whats the bass?? like, how do u figure out whats the bass for each chord??

  • listen

  • its the lowest note of each chord

  • yea i taught myself guitar by watching youtube videos. so thats why im making videos myself now!

  • Thankx a lot for these précious détails!

  • Thank you so much Scott XOXOXOX You're the only one on youtube I found who plays this song good. Thank you for making this video. It helped a lot ;-)

  • Is that a Zoom H2 you're using.? If so, what have you found to be the best settings? I can't find a good setting for a nylon string guitar.

  • yea its a zoom h2. for this recording i just used the front 90 degree microphones, mid mic gain, and turned the recording level all the way up. i usually just keep it this way unless im recording something really quiet.

    by the way i usually dont use this to record on youtube but i just didnt feel like setting my other equipment up right now.

  • Saved my life man

    (i am playing this song for my test in guitar class)

  • cool let me know how it goes!

  • hey man your really guud at this

    cud u possibly do a video on the strumming pattern for "i will follow you into the dark?"

    and just wondering, do u play any other instruments?

  • thanks! i cant promise that i will do your requests cus i get a lot of them everyday. and yes i do play other instruments... piano, and violin. but not very well

  • theres a dog in the backround
