this isn't the best advice for curly hair - being someone with curly hair myself. First, the hair should be a lot more we when applying products. then blot, but DONT use a terry cloth towel like the model is using here. Use a cotton T shirt or micro fiber towel. The fluff on terry cloth is like Velcro and causes frizz. Also, when defusing, you should be much more careful and slow and controlled - not waving it around.... This is not 'expert advice' by any means.

@allenalltheway pretty much any silicone based serum works as a heat protectant. Silicones coat the hair hair - that's what's protecting it from the heat. Product lines do this on purpose, so that you will buy 1 product for EVERYTHING.
