  • where can i get those sick drum samples? thanks :D

  • I'll just use GarageBand...

  • @poopr1221 are you theapc?

  • @imapieface Nope. Just another breakcore producer. I just really love the melody he uses in this video, and since he doesn't have the xrns file, I'm trying to reconstruct it.

  • wat u using i use ableton 8

  • Also: I'm currently trying to reconstruct the melody in one of my own songs. of course, doing a terrible job. I just love the melody of this little jam. Hauntingly beautiful.

  • wihs Program did he or she use to made these wonderfull Musik?

  • @L0c0L0r The program is Renoise.

  • alone, the break and the melody sound great. but they absolutely do not fit together. it sounds like someone at a church organ next to someone playing a drumset with some kitchen instruments.

  • Welcome to breakcore.

  • i dont like it :( it's whatever vst you got on.

  • SICK SICK SICK this is sooooo cooooool i wish i could make stuff this good but i dont understand the renoise tutorials:(

  • this blows.

  • out of sync!F it.this is great,some tuning here n there.and of to a dubplate cut.

  • and the melody needs mono just sometimes mix and fade it as stereo again just left or just right and a singing child (make it sing trough experimental sampling ideas..) and a dog right and a cat left ... wow what a fucking brilliant idea for that song i could make a amazing remix of your song!!!!!

  • cool song.

but the melody is to loud and the beat would need a highpitched reverb just beween 17.000 and 19.000 hz. than the beat would sound not that synchronized and the melody would fit with better timing. also the middle section of the track needs a soft reduction, but trough analogue faders.. use old equipment... and you get a very dusty vintage sound from it.. i could do millions of things to this track because i like it...

  • very nice! we should do a mix 2gether :)

  • Sounds like somebody likes Vsnares. Very cool, though the synth overpowers the breaks a fair deal. It's a shame you don't have the rns file any more, I'd love to play with it.

  • ye fuck off this is shit

  • damn! i love it :D I would love to do a remix if you wouldn't mind but I would need a midi file for the melody. So if you got some free time, could you upload a midi file of the melody ? Thx in advance ^^ Cheerz!

  • I'd love to do so, but unfortunately I no longer have that file (I don't use the same computer). I wish I could give it to you, and would love to hear a remix, but alas I can't.

  • If you ever rebuild the melody please let me know ^^ I've tried to rebuild it note by note but I don't have a midi-controller/midi-keyboard so it's kinda hard doing it note-by-bote xD cheers :)

  • Hey I never asked, what synth would you be using for this video? I love the sound. I've been trying to achieve that sound forever and can't seem to get it right.

  • To be honest I can't remember and I've a different computer now from when I made this vid. I think it's just a triangle and saw wave with a short attack and reasonable release, then distorted to all hell for the later bit that sounds more like an organ.

Whatever it is, it's not too complex. Just mess around with simple settings, you'll probably succeed.

  • which programme did you use??^^

  • Read the description (not trying to be a dick head) "A little jam in Renoise".

  • very squarepusher

    pure love

  • sounds pretty junglistic 2 me bruv

  • can you make into an mp3 and send it to me plz :)

  • this is not breakcore.. its more idm...

  • Sounds more like classic jungle beats to me...

  • breakcore is acually a subgenre in idm.

And @ deepertorrent: breakcore is like jungle, but the beats are faltering. (Don't know if faltering is the right words, i'm nog english from origin...

    Nice song!

  • I can't get my head around Renoise :(

  • Hey, haven't talked to you in a while, but just a response here. If you want a good introduction to trackers, try the program "Jeskola Buzz" at buzzmachines (dot) com. It's a GREAT freeware modular tracker and you can do a lot of crap with the massive pack which has, last time I checked, at least 400 effects and generators with it.

  • Love it, want to get started with renoise myself. The only thing I would suggest though would to turn down the synth sounds a bit. Absolutely great otherwise, I hope you make more in the same vein as this.

  • I would not necesarly call this breakcore, but it's nice for sure.

  • Yeah, I like Venetian Snares too

  • Fucking nice choon man

  • this is great dude

i really liked the synths [but yeah theyre too loud] i want to learn how to use this kind of stuff? how did u learn?

  • Thanks!

I learned Renoise by simply messing around with it and finding out how things worked. Good luck with your own work!

  • yeah i agree with ByteSmasher. tone down the synth, pump up the breaks!! haha you listen to Venetian Snares?

  • I do a bit... I actually don't listen to a whole lot of electronic stuff any more, I just make some. VSnares is wicked though.

  • I think the drums are rather dull ...sorry ...

  • Drop the drums, the synth line is great.

    MELODICA-CORE

  • omfg renoise!

  • That synth drowns out the wonderful breaks :(

  • I'll take that as a compliment :). I got a bit lazy writing the synth bit. Drums are what I focus on, and it's good to hear my effort is bearing some kind of result :)
