Well, Famitracker has a new version coming out soon; it'll support the N106 chip. That should give you the extra channels you need, right?

You know I was asking on Romhacking net if some could help us in the matter, to install your songs in the FF7 NES version. But for that the mapper and by extension the emulator needs to be changed to support the two additional sound channels of the VRC6 mapper. I would have loved to hear your work in the game, but as it appears so we won't get any help for now.

@ThanatosZero When I first saw the project I thought the engine they were using was custom built, modeled after the FF1 engine but allowing more memory/expansion chips/whatnot. But I should have figured it wouldn't be on "Romhacking net" if that was the case, eh? It's a pity, I would have loved to remake FF7's OST.

There might be the possibility that the mapper the game has poesses unused sound channels.
In any case I wouldn't give up, if I were you. Anything can change to the better or worse.

Yeah I'd say this is a little cleaner than my version probably because the tempo is slower

As much as I dislike several aspects of FFVII, I have to admit, the music is catchy as hell. As it happens, this is my favorite theme from the game. Great job on this; I'm lovin' it.

Aww yeah. I dunno why this song didn't get as much recognition as One-winged Angel, this is probably one of my favorite end-game boss themes ever.
