These look cute! I'd love to make these BUT would also like to do it responsibly. I dont feel right about using feathers to look cute at the expense of a birds quality of life. I did a quick search and found Rooster613 which sells cruelty-free feathers!! Another alternative could be synthetic feathers. Hope this helps! =)

Cute and easy! One way to avoid burning your fingers is having a bit of water and wetting them before touching the glue. I make my daughter hair accesories and sometimes when dealing with small objects or seal edges I have to touch the glue.

do you know any place that sells feather extensions? Not the extensions itself, but long feathers that can be used for extensions. I tried Michaels and Hobby lobby, they had feathers like the ones you showed in the video, but no skinny long ones that can be used to go in your hair.
