i got this concert on video bought it ages ago.. wasnt there unfortunately cos im only 18 lol but still.. bruces voice is a lil off key in this song and he cant reach the higher notes but he sure does get getter as the show goes on. hes awesome in the later songs. iron maiden are just 1 of those rare bands that are so much better live than on ther album!

Yeah they were on tour about 14 months playing 4-5 gigs a week so Bruce's voice could have been a little "exhausted " but as the show went on it got better . Anyway great performance!

I saw this show in '85, 3rd row center. I was 15, these guys were gods to me. I saw Maiden many more times after and countless other loud bands, but this was by far the most powerful show - lights and sound - ever.

My hearing still suffers 22 years later.

hmmm...tough song to do live, absolutely. One of those songs that the lead singer has over dubbed harmonizing vocals with the key melody....meaning that it can't be like the recording unless there are two Bruces, or if the other vocal track is in the background. I'm sure he did warm up, but he could have went falsetto for the part when it goes up a key and for the second part of the chorus.

dickinson is where he is there, and where he is now because he's the best at it. Technically, i think bruce is a much better singer then Di'anno. some people may like di'anno's voice more, but in my opinion bruce is just a better signer and suits maiden a hell of a lot more. Not to belittle paul though, still a great singer, but bruce is better for them, IMO.
