Rune Pures are NOVELTY. people will always hope for you to win but the reality is that Rune Pures can ONLY fight WEAK mains and other rune pures, they cant fight mains with 70+ def and piety, and they cant fight tanks. Range Tanks can fight ANYONE and WIN MAXED Mainsl, rune pures and even other tanks. embrace tanking and u wont look back
@mymarkis666 maxed rune pures fail in more than my simple opinion... an account can be 60 attack 75 def with turmoil and elysian spirit shield or divine if they can be taken seriously eought to get one, at 106 combt... maxed piety pures with Elysian/turm have the highest max hit in the game at the lowest combat level possible theoretically. dds AND other's hits being nerfed means superiourity on a level that rune pures can only try to achieve. dont take this the wrongway, RUNE PURES ARE NOVELTY.
@thegr8pulido 60 attack at 106 combat would fail unbelievably hard. True, it would do well against rune pures but you can't just create an account for fighting one build, rune pures are not the majority at 100+ combat, it's mostly mains and tanks. Nobody would make the account you mentioned but I agree, in theory, it would win more often than not against zerkers. And mains hit about 1 damage more than zerkers, so that max hit at the lowest cb is lame. I could hit 1 less at 93 cb with 40 def.

Mains these days love to use whips and D Claws. to use Whips and Dclaws these mains must wear rune armour no need for rune to prot d scim.. Secondly having been a 60 attack zerker for a long time with the same accuracy bonuses a main like that would have, I can tell you it sucks at a high combat level. People don't like fighting tanks because fighting high defence is boring. People like fast action pking and tanks are definately not that. I have a not too far from maxed tank myself and even I don't like fighting tanks on it, lol. Tanks = boring fights.
@mymarkis666 you obviously know NOTHING 1: It's not a main. It's an advance obby tank which he turned into a Piety Pure to keep the idea alive then Got Turmoil and Elysian on it. His 4th account including ones he hasnt made vids on. He has a turmoil rune pure on 75 attack. People might not like fighting high defence, true but that makes it all the more fun! Who fights maxed 60 attack turmoil and Vengeance at 98 combat? He abandoned his main for his pvp accounts. the name was Abyss Danger.
@thegr8pulido I know who he is, he's not the only one with an account like that, but it's still a main. Loads of people fight 60 attack/turmoil/veng at 98 cb. Trust me, there's nothing fun about having to wait several hours for a fight on a tank becasenobody wants to fight you and your targs are douches who won't give you free kills. Tanks ARE the best account build, that's why i made one, but what good is being the best if you can't ever get any fights?
@mymarkis666 So an account with 45 defence/99att/str is just a main with low defence? as would be an account with 99 str/75 attack/1 defence? I believe he traded his main for an Elysian Spirit Shield and most people dont know what an Elysian is so People at that comba that have one can pass it for a spectral. If I am correct a main is an account made to play runescape not specifically for PvP, you don't have to call his account a pure but it's definately not a main. Target hunting isnt the best.
@thegr8pulido 75 defence + melee based = main, no question about it. And people at that combat level will see a sigil and refuse to fight you (if they don't know what they are). And 60 attack at 106 cb still fails anyway.

Most people see blue and beleive its spectral because they find it incredible that somone melee based has Elysian at 106 combat, I don't find it hard to find fights nearly as much as i did on a tank i used to have that was 92 combat on 93 ranged/mage 70 defence. People will fight me without hesitation and the people that ussually say no just say no. I own bh.

That's more than my opinion, that's my personal experience, when i was a 60 attack zerker. 60 attack + piety can be effective with around 90 strength and 99 cb or lower, but after 100+ it starts to become less good, and eventually crap, unless you actually enjoy relying on claws constantly. I'm not saying it's not a cool account, I'm just saying it's not an effective build compared to others.

Relying on claws is a total mistake, dds gets kills for me much more often as its almost as wearing void using low level prayers. Piety Pures NEVER make it into the high 100s w/out turmoil so ur theory of it becoming ineffective doesnt rlly work out, seeing as a piety pure on 75 def/piety maxes at 103 combat and most people are using Godswords/whips in rune either way i hit them more.
@thegr8pulido I was talking about when piety is effective due to lesser combats than turmoil. 60 attack + turmoil would just be a waste if you're above 100 cb. I see from your profile you're in the process of creating one of those accounts, and I don't mean to discourage you. But I'm talking from experience of having been 60 attack at a high combat level. It fails immensely. If you pk every day you might be able to get enough good clips for a pk vid but it's not going to be fun.
